Travel by Ferry or Boat to Playa Blanca Lanzarote

To the south of the island lies the Port of Playa Blanca, connecting Lanzarote with the town of Corralejo, located in the north of the neighboring island Fuerteventura. This zone is covered by modern boats that can travel through the whole of the trajectory within a period of fifteen to twenty minutes.

In certain occasions, when the wind blows strong in Lanzarote it becomes impossible to land at the airport "Guacimeta" in Arrecife, so planes are diverted to Fuerteventura Airport and customers are brought to Lanzarote by boat across to the "Playa Blanca" harbor.

Playa Blanca boasts of the marina "Marina Rubicon", which comfortably receives private boats that visit us daily. The facilities that compose this port are modern and provide a service tailored to the needs of the visitor.

Playa Blanca also has different marine sports schools for: diving, sailing and different types of surf.


The building of the captaincy is run by prepared and hard-working personal, equipped with several languages to boost communication, their aim is to provide information and quality service to our visitors.


The port also has good menu restaurants, bars, brand shops, souvenir bazaars, perfume boutiques, and car rental offices amongst others. There is also a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 h to 14:00 h.


To top it off the marina "Marina Rubicon" hosts competitions like Races and Sport Fishing.
